A Tribute to Stephen Hillenburg

As a lot of you have heard all over the news, SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 57, due to complications from ALS (a disease that causes muscle atrophy). A lot of fans were saddened by this, even I was.
Hillenburg inspired me to draw both my original characters and SpongeBob characters.
Hillenburg was a marine biologist as well, before he came up with SpongeBob (previously called SpongeBoy).
In conclusion, I really want to thank Stephen Hillenburg for not only creating SpongeBob, but for bring lots of joy, laughter, and imagination, with SpongeBob. I'm really going to miss him... But luckily, he's in Heaven with other fellow celebrities.
Hillenburg died, but he died a happy-go-lucky, ocean-loving cartoonist. He is certainly both an Ocean Man and a Goofy Goober.

Hillenburg, thank you...
