Noticed an error on Nickelodeon...

Hey, guys! I just have one thing to share that no one's heard about yet! But while I was watching the SpongeBob episodes "Penny Foolish/Nautical Novice" on Nick@Nite on Sunday night, I noticed that the whole entire episode was cropped to make it look like it's in high definition (including the theme song).
And YES, THIS IS REAL! I'M NOT JOKING, ALRIGHT? Here's a couple pictures to prove!

So yeah, I think this happened not because Nick's trying to remaster all episodes of SpongeBob from seasons 1-8, because in the next episode after it ("Pressure/The Smoking Peanut"), the error was fixed. I think they might've done it was because before these episodes were shown, an airing of The Lego Movie was shown, which I think might've affected the aspect ratio of the television screen. So yeah!
