Back in Pack!

Damn, it's been nearly a year since I last typed here in this blog. I gotta keep track of my blog more.

Anyway, hey guys, M-Pack is back with more exciting posts! Sorry for being gone for so damn long, The truth is that I kinda forgot about this blog, and because I had a lot of other things to do in my life, like working on videos and helping out around the house.

Now, where am I with the channel and new videos? Oh, yeah!

New Mike & Friends episode is already out, called "Sugar Bash", and it's the second episode to be requested by my good friend Jordan Anthony Treloar (first being "Lost in the Woods"). I hope he can request another episode. If it's another parody episode request, then I'm going to do it my way so I wouldn't end up ripping off the original episode in its entirety, like *cough* *cough* Mercy's Meeting.

It's about Mike throwing a party and inviting his friends. He eats some cookies that Kyle brought over to the party and getting one hell of a sugar rush! Trust me! It's a great episode, with updated animation too! That's another important thing that's in this episode!

In case you're on this blog and you haven't been keeping up with my videos on YouTube, I also started a new series of reaction videos with the plush toys, inspired by 6264jenz's series VHS Reaction (seriously though check out VHS Reaction, it's really good!) called DVD Reactions (with spin-offs called Commercial Reactions and Other Reactions). I only made 12 episodes (I think) so far. Go check them out if you haven't yet.

Back on the Mike & Friends topic, new episodes are coming soon. I finished typing the script for a new requested episode for fellow subscriber Kendrin Diaz titled "Fat Connor". The script's not the same as how he visioned the episode, but I hope he'll be happy with my result. It's going to be about Connor get more fatter than usual and getting a heart attack, later for the rest of the gang to find out at the hospital that he has diabetes. So Mike and Connor's father must help Connor get into the shape in order to lose all of his gained weight.

Then after "Fat Connor" is done, I'm going back to writing and producing solo-written episodes (unless other people have ideas for original Mike & Friends ideas). Sometimes, I need a break from the requests. I'm especially talking to you, Blake Hinson! But, Kendrin did request another episode called "Connor's Paramount DVD Phobia". He wanted me to make it as episode 28 (and to open season 3), but I told him that I already had plans for episode 28, to wrap up Season 3, and to start season 3. I'm not telling you how I'm going to end season 2, but let's just say it'll end with a cliffhanger. Stay tuned for that in the near future!

Anyway, I think I've covered enough on this one big blog post! Stay tuned for more posts soon!

New Mike & Friends episode premieres tomorrow!

Hey, Mike here! And tomorrow night at 5pm (eastern standard time), a brand new Mike & Friends episode will premiere to YouTube! And it's not your ordinary Mike & Friends episode! It's...
And it will be on YouTube with a set premiere date of tomorrow (April 1, 2020) at 5pm ET! Stay tuned!

Mike & Friends Season 2 has officially begun!

With "Pizza Pieholes" (the Season 1 finale) complete, Mike & Friends has officially entered Season 2! I can't believe I've come so far in this journey! I've already completed and uploaded the season premiere "Mike Watches the Columbia Tristar Home Video" a couple weeks ago. Also, I'm currently working on another requested episode and this time, it's not from Blake! It's from a fellow subscriber named 'Christian the Thomas & Friends Fan (ALT)'.
The episode he requested is an episode called "The Incredible Mike-Hulk" (GET THE REFERENCE?). It's about Mike becoming the Hulk and saving Connor from Red Rage Hulk. It's based on a Mercy's Meeting episode called "The Incredible Mercy-Hulk" (SIMILARITIES, ANYONE??). That episode had the same plot as this.
After I'm done with the "Mike-Hulk" episode, I'm going to start production on episode 15, which is an episode that I wrote solo (the first Season 2 episode to be written by me only!). The episode will be called "Mike the Hero", and it's not the same plot as "Mike-Hulk" (despite the fact that Hulk's a superhero himself). The "Mike the Hero" episode is about Mike doing something heroic to get a huge reputation and somehow taking all this too far. Not telling you anything else about the episode because spoilers.
After "MTH" is done, I'm working on yet another requested episode by another subscriber named 'Robert's Channel of Random Stuff'. The episode will be titled "Brain Crap" and it's going to be about Mike and Connor switching brains, thanks to Kyle's new invention. I've always loved the idea of a 'brain-swap' episode and that episode is going to be episode 16. Stay tuned for that and the other two episodes aforementioned.
So, that being said, Season 2 as a whole will include 12 episodes. I'm probably going to work on a Season 3, but I've just started the second season. I'll probably wait 'til like after episode 21 is done and we'll see!
Stay safe and remember to constantly wash your hands (because of the state of emergency we're in right now!)!
Before I go, here's a picture for the "Mike-Hulk" episode as a 'lil sneak peek!
See ya later!

UPDATE (3/31/20): Change of plans, after a secret new Mike & Friends episode will premiere tomorrow at 5pm ET, I'll work on the "Brain Crap" episode, now retitled "Brain Mix" for some reason. Then, after that I'll work on "Mike the Hero"! Sorry for the mix-up!

New Mike & Friends Episodes Coming Soon!

Before I announce what is said on the title to you, I just want to tell you to subscribe to the M-Pack Productions YouTube channel (link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqpPwp5NtuXVX1PMtfPuIew) and watch the latest new Mike & Friends episode "Missy's Dream" (two versions of it BTW).

Anyway, I'm currently working on a new Mike & Friends episode (episode 11) titled "Pizza Pieholes". I'm obviously not telling you much about it yet, but what I am going to say is that it will be a homage to The Three Stooges shorts. Title card coming soon!
Also, after "Pizza Pieholes" is done and uploaded, I'm working on episode 12, in which the script for it is already done. This one is a sequel to the classic "Mike Watches the Paramount DVD Logo", and I said that I was going to make a series of episodes with that structure. The 12th episode will be called "Mike Watches the THX Logo", and it's about...well, what did you expect? And this one is a special one: it's a requested episode (the first one to be exact) by a YouTuber that I'm proud to subscribe, named BlakeTheCartoonMallMouseandTomandJerryFan2020 ALT (that's his new channel BTW). He makes videos on Tom & Jerry, Mall Mouse (a character on Tom & Jerry Kids), Top Cat, etc. So if you're a fan of those, go subscribe to him!
LINK TO HIS CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClZJ48tSRjcTg-MnaRNaiCw
Anyway, stay tuned for Pizza Pieholes, which I think will be done and released by late February/early March. I don't know about "Mike Watches the THX Logo" yet, but I think that will come out in early March. Stay tuned, guys.

M-Pack, signing off.

EDIT (2/24/20): The THX Logo video is already made and uploaded so I could get it out faster for Blake. Pizza Pieholes is still coming probably in March! Keep it here!

Happy 5th Anniversary to Sponge Out of Water!

5 years ago, "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" was released in theaters. I LOVED that film when I first saw it the day after on February 7th, 2015, at Cinemagic Stadium Theaters in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The CGI in this movie was amazing. I love the 2D parts because I've always loved seeing 2D animated films in movie theaters. Invincibubble was my favorite superhero-turned character. I can't describe anything else good in the movie. Like any other movies I've seen and loved, there were some issues.
Some scenes were dragged too long, some animation errors, and the scene where they finally know where the formula is felt a little rushed.
Still, it was an AMAAAAZING movie. Doesn't hold up as the greatest film I've seen like its predecessor back in 2004, but it's up there!

Still, happy 5th birthday to this movie!

Happy early new year/decade!

I hope you all had a nice Christmas (or if you don't celebrate it, a nice holiday)! Just a quick reminder that I'll be taking a little break from the Mike & Friends comics and YouTube series, because I have been constantly working on it a lot this fall and winter, and I felt that I needed a break for once, like when I took some a while ago.

So you should expect new Mike comics to come out on Tapas in early to mid-January.

And as for the cartoon series on YouTube, I'll probably work on the 9th episode either in February or later. I really need a break from it.

Hope you guys understand.

Happy new year from me and my family and friends!

M-Pack SpongeBob Reviews #1: "The Goofy Newbie"

New series! Yay!
Today on the first SpongeBob review episode, we're taking a look on yesterday's new SpongeBob besides the episode that premiered after it, "Squid's on a Bus" (you know, the episode that premiere overseas before premiering here in the U.S.!) But I'm not reviewing that episode right now. READ THE POST TITLE!!!

Before we begin, I'll tell you the structure of how I'm going to do these types of posts. I'm going to start by checking out who wrote the episode (a la Mr. Enter). Then, I'll explain the episode's plot. In between, I'll explain the flaws and other stuff in the episode. Then, I'll rate the episode. You get the idea! This is just like Mr. Enter's Animated Atrocities and Admirable Animation series. This is inspired by them. So let's begin... Wait! Also...

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

You know, it's great to see a new episode that takes place at Goofy Goober's after the first SpongeBob movie. The episode 'Patnocchio' had a scene taking place at Goofy Goober's. And now, I must point out that Kaz wrote the episode. I also like to point out that he also wrote 'Ink Lemonade', the worst Season 11 episode. Anyway, on with the episode!

The episode begins at Goofy Goober's, where Patrick is trying lots of free samples of the ice cream. Apparently, Squidina from the episode 'Goons on the Moon' works at Goofy Goober's. Patrick then gets kicked out of the restaurant. While laying there, a couple of Goofy Goober employees sit on Patrick while eating ice cream. They point out that they always get free ice cream during their first break, lunch break, and second break. I wish I worked there...

Patrick, surprised about the fact that employees eat ice cream during their breaks, decides to get a job there himself. He's shown a training video that explains how Goofy Goober's was founded. After the training video, he's tasked to clean the dishes. A few minutes later, the manager checks up on him. The dishes are already clean. Patrick explains how he cleaned the dishes: by putting the dirty dishes in his mouth and licking the dirty spots off them. Gross.

Next, the manager tasks him by storing containers of ice cream into the freezer. One hour later, the manager checks up on him. Apparently, Patrick put the ice cream containers in the cold freezer and set up a fire in it. Kaz, you do realize that they're underwater right? Fire doesn't work underwater. Just a little pet peeve. This causes the ice cream to melt and flood the restaurant.

Some time later, he is tasked to wear a Goofy Goober mascot to entertain the children. The children climb onto the costume and start to make Patrick uncomfortable, so he gets them off of him. A little kid throws a big scoop of ice cream and that gets the kids to run after it. This gives Patrick the opportunity to eat the unattended ice cream. This also gets the manager to give Patrick the rest of the day off and gives him a warning. He goes to SpongeBob at his rock. SpongeBob decides to help Patrick out on his job by hiding in the suit and becomes Patrick's hands so he can impress the manager.

This becomes a success the next day. Patrick finally gets his first ice cream break. He eats up all the ice cream in the restaurant. He then gets a huge brain freeze which freezes up the entire Earth. 'Five billion years later', the ice melts off the Earth. Kaz, how is it possible for ice to melt off of Earth. The Earth is surrounded by space. You're an idiot. This, of course, gets Patrick fired. Patrick then leaves in a banana split UFO???? Uh, I don't get it... And that's how the episode ends. Okay then...

For now, I'll consider this a decent episode. This episode may have its duds, but overall, it's still a good episode to watch. If anyone hasn't watched this episode, go watch it whenever the episode reruns on Nickelodeon.

So I'm going to keep reviewing SpongeBob episodes. Next time, I'm going to review an older episode. No, not a pre-movie episode! That's for another time. But let's say one from either seasons 6-8. See ya guys for episode 2 of M-Pack SpongeBob Reviews!
