Chris Reccardi Tribute

Minutes ago, I've heard on the internet that well-known animator Chris Reccardi has sadly died yesterday at the age of 54 due to a heart attack. During his lifetime, he worked on cartoons such as 'Ren & Stimpy', the original 'Powerpuff Girls' series, 'The Simpsons', and 'SpongeBob'. He also created a cartoon pilot for Nickelodeon called 'The Modifyers'. He also worked on most animated movies as well.

He was a writer, animator, storyboard artist, producer, and character designer on most of those shows and films. My favorite works that he was involved were 'Ren & Stimpy' and 'SpongeBob'. He had more involvement in 'Ren & Stimpy' than in 'SpongeBob'. He only was involved on said show between 2007 and 2008. He also was a storyboard artist for 'The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water' in 2015.

That being said, he was one of many influences in my cartooning skills and he will be missed.
